European Clubs On Alert As Aubameyang Tells Dortmund About His Intention To Leave
German newspaper Bild has reported that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has his heart set on leaving Signal Iduna Park in the summer.
Paris Saint Germain and Manchester City are on their haunches, as reports have emerged in Germany indicating that Aubameyang has told Borussia Dortmund of his desire to leave. The other clubs interested in signing the Gabon international include the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United.
According to L’Equipe, Unai Emery is looking to bring the top scorer of Bundesliga to Paris in his bid to restore domestic supremacy and overcome challenges in Europe.
On the other hand, Manchester United have a long standing interest in the Gabonese, as they set out to replace the injured Zlatan Ibrahimovic during the summer transfer window.
It goes without saying these two mega rich powerhouses have the finances to secure the Dortmund sharp shooter, but they might have to deal with the ridiculous offers from the Chinese Super League.
There are already numerous former European footballers like Tevez, Lavezzi, Oscar, Jackson Martinez, and Hulk earning a fortune in China, meaning the Chinese clubs will not deter from paying astronomical wages to Aubameyang.
With 39 goals for the season, the 27-year-old has been in scintillating form for Borussia Dortmund.
Despite being so prolific and outscoring a striker of the caliber of Lewandowski, however, Auba is frustrated with the fact that he could not manage to win the league title. As a result, realizing that he might not be able to fulfill his ambitions with BVB, the striker has decided to move to greener pastures.
