Manchester United Willing To Sell Anthony Martial, But Under One Condition
According to The Independent, Manchester United are open to offers for Anthony Martial, and the arrival of either Ivan Perisic or Willian could see the Frenchman leave Old Trafford this summer.
After signing for the Red Devils on deadline day in last season’s summer transfer window, Martial took the Premier League by storm, scoring on his debut against arch-rivals Liverpool. He finished the season as United’s top goal scorer in all competitions, with 17 goals in 49 appearances.
However, things have gone sour for the former Monaco man this season under Jose Mourinho, as he managed just 8 goals from 42 appearances, and moreover, the 20-year-old’s performances have drawn public criticism from the former Chelsea manager on many occasions.
After Martial failing to deliver the goods for United this season, the club is expected to splash the cash and sign world-class forwards this summer.
The Reds are being strongly linked with Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic and Chelsea’s Willian, and reports claim that Martial could be shown the exit door, if the current Europa League Champions sign any reinforcements to the wide forward spots.

United haven’t confirmed that Martial is officially for sale this summer, however, the inside sources believe that the club’s hierarchy could listen to offers for the Frenchman if they manage to lure Willian or Perisic to Old Trafford.
The report adds that negotiations for Perisic have currently hit a snag, as United want to complete a deal for the forward around £30m, but Inter are holding out for £50m – a price tag that the Red Devils are currently not willing to meet.
If United’s pursuit for Perisic ends in failure, they are ready to turn their attention towards Willian, with Jose Mourinho reportedly keen to be reunited with the Brazilian Winger in Manchester.
The 28-year-old has endured a mixed season at Stamford Bridge, and has found himself in and out of the team as the Blues lifted the Premier League title. He has already ruled out a move away from Stamford Bridge, however, but it is being reported that Chelsea are willing to do a deal with the United officials nonetheless.
