Mauricio Pochettino is expected to be busy in the coming months as he bids to strengthen his team ahead of the new season. Tottenham will look to seriously challenge for the Premier League title next term, and new signings will be crucial.

The team’s progress has seen a number of players linked to come in next season, and the bookies, as per Football London, expect Spurs to sign at least five players. Among these, are Ross Barkley, Luke Shaw, and Thomas Lemar. Harry Maguire and Josh King are also touted to make the move to North London.

Barkley’s future with Everton remains unsure even as manager Ronald Koeman has pushed the midfielder to decide his future quickly. Dele Alli is speculated to be moving to Manchester City, while Eric Dier has been linked with Manchester United. This has intensified rumours that the 23-year-old will move to Spurs this summer. The bookies give this move odds of 15/8.

Shaw is also being linked with a move to Spurs. The young left-back has struggled with form and injuries under Jose Mourinho, and would be looking to move away from Old Trafford. The 21-year-old would surely be impressed by Pochettino’s handling and development of left-backs. Danny Rose’s links with United means the odds of the England international reuniting with his former Southampton manager are at 11/4.

Monaco’s Lemar is also rumoured to be on Tottenham’s radar. He was a part of the young Monaco side that won the Ligue 1 this season, but is likely to exit the French club. This will add a much needed winger to the Spurs side, but they will have to battle city rivals Arsenal and Italian champions Juventus for the 21-year-old.

With centre-back Kevin Wimmer expected to leave Spurs, Harry Maguire is rumoured to join the Lilywhites. The 24-year-old made 36 appearances for Hull last season, but with the Tigers relegated to the Championship, he is priced at 4/5 to join Tottenham.

Also linked with the London-based outfit is Bournemouth’s Josh King. The striker had an impressive season with the Cherries, as he scored 16 goals in 36 appearances. Everton are also linked with the former United man, as Romelu Lukaku is expected to leave Goodison Park.

Ben Gibson, Moussa Dembele and Gylfi Sigurdsson have also been linked with the Spurs.
