1. Kylian Mbappe To Arsenal

What’s the story?

As per reports coming in from L’Equipe (via Sports Mole)Arsene Wenger is all set and ready to tempt teen sensation Kylian Mbappe into signing for the London club, after preparing a jaw dropping bid worth £122m, beating the £87m mark set by Real Madrid in the weeks gone by.

Should the deal take place?

The lad has been among Europe’s finest strikers this season, and after scoring 23 goals in 41 appearances for Monaco throughout the campaign, the 18-year-old is a target for many of the top clubs in the sport at the moment.

However, Real Madrid seem to be the biggest obstacle in Wenger’s pursuit of the French forward, as not only do they have the Champions League advantage over Arsenal, but also Zinedine Zidane, a manager the player is keen to work it. If it comes down to the choice of the forward alone, one can all but guarantee that Spain will be his destination, and all stats will support the decision.

Possibility of it happening

Arsenal are not considered to be big spenders, but desperate times can lead to desperate measures. However, the absence of the Champions League could end up hurting their chances. Hence, 5/10 for this one.

2. Jermain Defoe To Bournemouth

What’s the story?

The Ex-Sunderland player is on his way to Bournemouth over the summer as a part of a clause allows him to move after the Black Cats were relegated earlier this season, thus making way for a deal to take place. The news has been circulating around England since a few days, and was recently confirmed by the English international.

Should the deal take place?

The player, while speaking to BBC Radio 5, said: “It’s out there, a lot of people obviously knew, I did a medical and said when this is finished and I’ve had a break, come July everyone will know anyway.”

This all but confirms that the Premiership will have Defoe back again, and with sights set on the 2018 world cup with the national side, joining a team that thrives on attacking football might turn out to be a brilliant choice in the end.

Possibility of it happening

With the player almost making it official, a strong 10/10 possibility exists for this deal to take place.

3. Mario Balotelli To Borussia Dortmund

What’s the story?

According to various reports, Italian striker Mario Balotelli looks all set to say goodbye to Nice and join Bundesliga super side, Borussia Dortmund. This rumour erupted into life and spread like wildfire after Mino Raiola was caught speaking to the German media, where he said: “Balotelli will play for Dortmund.”

Should the deal take place?

Super Mario has had a season that has saved his career, after poor stints with Liverpool and AC Milan had left him in the dark and unwanted zones of football. The striker helped Nice to the 3rd spot in Ligue 1 with an impressive 17 goals in 28 appearances for the club.

As he looks to get back on the big stage of the sport and be the best his abilities can turn him into while hoping for an outside chance in the 2018 World Cup, the player is assumed to be preparing a shocking move to Borussia Dortmund. With the German side appointing Peter Bosz as manager and offering UEFA Champions League football next season, it just might be the perfect chance for Mario to bring his footballing career back on track.

Possibility of it happening

Dortmund is a side known to have players that focus on work ethics and efforts, and Balotelli falls slightly outside that range. Thus, a 6/10 possibility exists in favour of this deal.

4. Alexandre Lacazette To Atletico Madrid

What’s the story?

As Atleti currently face a transfer ban that prevents them from bringing in players during the summer window, Antoine Griezmann spoke to Telefoot recently, and told his fellow French striker Lacazette to be at Lyon until January before a move to the La Liga side.

Should the deal take place?

Lacazette and Griezmann form a formidable partnership in the France National side, and with the latter confirming his future to be with Atletico, the two being at the same club soon makes complete sense. The Ligue 1 striker has been a target man for Diego Simeone for far too long, and he might just be the final touch they need to win some elusive silverware.

Possibility of it happening

Lacazette is one of Europe’s most wanted strikers at the moment, and with him telling Lyon and the world that it is time to move on, a deal to Atletico in January seems highly unlikely, with no further possibility than 2/10.
