AC Milan’s Donnarumma Offered To Real Madrid
Gianluigi Donnarumma, the prodigious AC Milan goalkeeper, has been offered to Real Madrid as they continue to try and negotiate a deal for David De Gea.
According to the Spanish news outlet Marca, Donnarumma’s agent Mino Raiola has moved forward to offer the player to the Madrid-based club, as a possible solution to the De Gea fiasco.
Real Madrid have been looking to replace Keylor Navas for quite some time now. But with negotiations for De Gea proving to be a dead end, as seen in attempts spanning over multiple seasons, Los Blancos might now be interested in looking for alternatives.
Jose Mourinho, the boss at Old Trafford, has not put any condition for the Spaniard to stay at the club. Yet, since the infamous deal broke down over an alleged malfunctioning fax machine back in 2015, David has signed a new contract with the club, and is only willing to leave if Real put down a good offer.
But, if Real do fade their interest towards the 3-time United Player of the Year, Donnarumma, the 18-year-old prodigy, certainly has enough to make up for the lost quality.
Dubbed as the next ‘Gigi Buffon’, Donnarumma has been a glimmer of light in an otherwise disappointing season for AC Milan in the Serie A. The teenager has already played 72 games for the club in the span of two seasons, and has also managed to bag 3 national caps.
According to reports from Gazzetta dello Sport (via the Daily Mail), he has rejected over 3 attempts of a contract extension, with his current deal running until 2018. With no lack of eyes tracking the Italian keeper’s every move, a move to one of Europe’s giants is only imminent.
