Morata To Stay If Ronaldo Leaves
Alvaro Morata is set to remain at Real Madrid if Cristiano Ronaldo leaves the club this summer.
According to reports, Ronaldo has been left furious after he was accused of defrauding the tax authorities of £12 million, and has threatened to leave Real Madrid since then. The 32-year-old winger strongly denies the accusations being sent his way, and could very well be on his way out of the club this summer.
Morata, on the other hand, has been constantly linked with a move away from Los Blancos this summer, with Manchester United supposedly in the hunt to sign him up. He has been desperate for more opportunities, but with that looking highly unlikely, he is said to have decided to move on.
Real brought him back to the Santiago Bernabeu after selling him to Juventus, where his talents were displayed for all to see. He was a massive success in Turin, but since his return to Madrid, he has failed to nail down a starting spot, despite managing to score 20 goals last season.

However, with Ronaldo set to depart, Don Balon claim that Morata may change his mind and decide to stay, as it would possibly mean more game time.
The 24-year-old has always been desperate to make it with the newly crowned La Liga and Champions League winners, and should the club’s all-time top scorer decide to bring an end to his time in Spain, Morata may well decide to give it another shot.
The Spaniard has also been linked with a massive £70 million move to Chelsea, but it seems that his future now depends on the future of Ronaldo.
The 5-time Ballon D’Or winner’s decision to stay or leave will not affect James Rodriguez, though, as the Colombian, who has been on the fringes of Zidane’s team, does not feel like he belongs at the Bernabeu anymore. With Real set to bring in reinforcements this summer, Rodriguez will probably be one of the casualties.
