Paris Saint-Germain star Blaise Matuidi is attentively listening to the incoming offers from interested parties, the midfielder’s father has revealed.

The Frenchman’s future has been under immense speculation ever since the arrival of Unai Emery at the helm of the Parisian club, and the 30-year-old almost ended up leaving the club to join Serie A outfit Juventus last summer, but the move failed to materialise.

The player has since been linked with switch to England, with Premier League giants Chelsea and Manchester United believed to be interested in his services at present.

And now, it has come to light that the France international, who managed to start only 26 Ligue 1 games last season, is open to a move away from PSG, according to his father, Faria Matuidi.

Faria recently spoke to Le Parisien about his in-demand son’s future, and revealed (via TalkSPORT): “A few weeks ago, Blaise was more interested in staying at PSG. Now the situation is much more mixed.

“PSG, and in particular their new sporting director [Antero Henrique] have been slow to reveal their intentions. For that reason we’re listening attentively to the advances of other clubs.”

It remains to be seen whether the experienced midfielder ends up prolonging his stay in the French capital, or whether the likes of Antonio Conte and Jose Mourinho, who desperately seek a reinforcement in the middle of the park, successfully end up luring him to England.
