Manchester United starlet Anthony Martial has taken to Twitter to calm down the notion of him joining rivals Arsenal

Earlier, The Gambling Times had claimed that Anthony Martial was all set to ask United to let him move to a different club, with Arsenal showing keen interest in the player.

Numerous sources had reported that Arsene Wenger had decided on moving for the inside forward if his bid for Mbappe failed – a claim which has now been rubbished by Martial on his Twitter profile.

Martial has clearly asked the fans to ignore the rumors surrounding his situation at Old Trafford. It was believed that the French international is unsettled at Manchester United because of his lack of playing time, but the player’s latest social media activity suggests that he is willing to fight for his place rather than look for a move away.

The transfer rumors indicated that Arsenal were planning a £40 million bid to bring Martial to the Emirates, if their pursuit of Mbappe met a dead end.

The Monaco man is one of the most wanted players in world football right now, but the Gunners reportedly have a good chance of signing him, because of the player’s eagerness to work under Arsene Wenger.
