What’s the story?

The Merseyside club has been a major part of the news in the weeks gone by for all the right reasons, as Ronald Koeman and the others in charge have been spending huge amounts of money in bringing in a group of players to revolutionise things at Goodison Park.

The Everton fans have had a few days to treasure as their side have welcomed highly talented signings in the window so far, and according to Standard News, there is much more to follow. The club has been tipped to sign Arsenal striker, Olivier Giroud for £20m, and with Wayne Rooney also on the list, good times are certainly around the corner.

Should the deal take place?

It does not take a genius to figure out that Koeman is building a side that means business and challenges for titles in the future, and with the imminent exit of Romelu Lukaku, the search for replacements is currently being headed at full speed. The French striker has been shifted to the bench quite often under Arsene Wenger, and given Lacazette’s arrival, moving to a club that offers first team football will be the wiser decision to make.

Possibility of it happening

The possibility of the forward signing for Everton is currently strong at 8/10.

2. Alvaro Morata To Manchester United

What’s the story?

Latest rumours from all sources of the media have hyped a link between Alvaro Morata and Manchester United, with a deal assumed to be on the verge of taking place. However, not everything has been smooth sailing in the negotiations so far, and as per reports coming in from Goal.comReal Madrid have rejected a £70 million bid from Jose Mourinho, as they play hardball with the aim of cashing in big time on their departing Spanish striker.

Should the deal take place?

With Zlatan gone, and leading goal scorer of all time Wayne Rooney going, the Red Devils are anxious and eager to get a top striker into their ranks. The other teams in the League have not been messing around in the window so far, and with Arsenal signing Lacazette earlier today, Mourinho is under more pressure than ever. The club has been linked with Lukaku too, but Morata seems to be the likelier option. With him always being behind Ronaldo and Benzema at Madrid, and Old Trafford awaiting a new hero, this might be the perfect chance for the young forward to launch his career into sky high mode and write himself into Manchester glory.

Possibility of it happening

The possibility of Morata coming to United is currently based on Madrid’s will to leave their man, and with a little added amount in their bid, a deal could very well fall into place. As of now, 9/10 are the odds in favour of it happening.

3. Yuri Berchiche To PSG

What’s the story?

With his bad days far behind him and his value as high as ever, Yuri Berchiche could well be on the way to securing a move to one of Europe’s finest clubs, as Le Parisien (via TalkSport) have claimed that PSG are the most probable destination for the current Real Sociedad full-back. Unai Emery’s team is set to sign the player for £12m during the ongoing transfer window.

Should the deal take place?

The player was once a flop in England during his three-year stay with Tottenham, as he managed to make zero appearances for the club, and was also loaned out to Cheltenham Town in 2009. However, the player has since evolved himself into a real professional, and his recent 35 matches in Spain’s top league have impressed not only the French giants, but also Barcelona. If the Capital of France does come calling, heading there will be a no brainer for the defender.

Possibility of it happening

The possibility of it happening is currently as high as 8/10.

4. Alexandre Lacazette To Arsenal

What’s the story?

The ‘Wenger Out’ chants are surely to die down after today, as the Arsenal boss has pulled a trick out of his bag, and despite the absence of Champions League football, has managed to bring in Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon. The club made the news official on their website earlier today, and it was enough indication for the world to take the Gunners and their boss seriously in the campaign to come. The French forward has been signed for a club record fee of £52.7m.

Should the deal have taken place?

The striker has been one of the most sought after players in the window so far, and him choosing the London club over other major offers goes to prove the prospect of something major happening at the Emirates over the summer. Arsenal have to give in their all to turn around a shocking last season, and this could be the first step in a much needed positive direction. With a minimum of 20 goals in his previous three seasons, Lacazette is certainly the perfect man Arsenal need right now.
