Sky Sports: Manchester United Close To Agreeing Ivan Perisic Fee
Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic could finally be heading to Manchester United, as both the clubs are reportedly close on agreeing a fee for the 28-year-old star.
United boss Jose Mourinho, who has already bought Victor Lindelof and Romelu Lukaku this summer, has been keen to bring the the Croatia international to Old Trafford.
And though the Portuguese has said that he doesn’t know if Perisic would be signing for the Red Devils, reports have emerged that a deal could be completed within 48 hours.
It was reported by Sky Sports that the wide-man had been given permission to leave Inter’s training camp in Alps over the weekend, in order to return to Croatia for dental treatment on what was described as a tooth abscess. And United are now keen to wrap up the deal for the winger, so that he won’t have to travel to China.

However, the fee for the Croatian star has been a major problem which has caused the delay in the transfer, with Inter holding out for £48 million.
It was also claimed by Sky Italia that the Nerazzurri have also made an inquiry about the ‘possibility of United forward Anthony Martial being included in the deal.’
Inter wanted Martial on loan as part of the deal, but after United rebuffed their demands, the Italian giants now seem to have compromised on a price.
Perisic moved to the San Siro from Wolfsburg in 2015, and scored 11 goals in the previous season. The former Borussia Dortmund winger is set to become United’s third major signing of the summer, taking Jose Mourinho’s spending to £150 million in this transfer window.
