What’s the story?

The Borussia Dortmund striker has been one of the most spoken about transfer targets this summer, and after countless rumours linking him to a number of clubs, he could very well bring an anticlimactic end to all of them. Dortmund’s sporting director Michael Zorc have said that the forward will extend his stay with the Bundesliga club.

Should the deal take place?

Chelsea, AC Milan, and Paris Saint-Germain were all keenly interested in purchasing the star centre forward, but all of them seem to be in for a disappointment. Aubameyang was close to signing a deal with Milan, but after his two goals against them in a pre-season friendly, it is understood that Dortmund have taken a stand on keeping their man. With a new boss at the helm and a challenging season to look forward to, he could surely be the difference between a disappointing and successful season for the German side.

Possibility of it happening

“We have decided that Auba will stay with BVB. The transfer window is closed for him,” said Dortmund’s sporting director Michael Zorc. With such statements, one can safely say that the chances of him staying with his current side are as high as 9.5/10.

2. Angel Di Maria To Stay At PSG

What’s the story?

Ever since his move to Manchester United, Angel Di Maria’s footballing career has faced a steady decline. The player has moved on and joined PSG in the last two seasons, but has failed to have a lasting impact at the French club in ways expected as well. In light of his uncertain future in France, and Ivan Perisic possibly heading to Old Trafford, Inter Milan have come up as a club interested in his services for next season. Le Parisien, however, have slightly different news in their reports, as they mention that the winger wishes to be a part of PSG’s future.

Should the deal take place?

The player had a dismal run in the early stages of last season, as his relationship with Unai Emery failed to hit a stable understanding. However, the winger later admitted to things going bad, and how the duo has managed to turn a tight corner and mutually head towards a better future with best interests and ambitions for the club. PSG are desperate for European glory, and Di Maria could be extremely crucial in his role to help achieve it.

Possibility of it happening

Inter Milan are eager to match up to AC Milan’s massive summer signings so far, and the Argentina international could be the perfect start to do so. However, the player has other intentions in mind, and hence, the chances of him staying in Ligue 1 are currently 6/10.

3. Alvaro Morata To Chelsea

What’s the story?

Gianluca Di Marzio has claimed that AC Milan are currently looking at Andrea Belotti, Nikola Kalinic, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as their striking options for the summer, and hence, have left the door open for Antonio Conte to go ahead and sign Alvaro Morata. The striker from Los Blancos’ side was earlier a United target, but has now reportedly emerged as the number one priority at Stamford Bridge.

Should the deal take place?

The forward has found trouble in kickstarting his career into full gear at Real Madrid, and despite only managing 26 appearances under Zinedine Zidane last season, he still got himself an impressive tally of 4 assists and 15 goals. Chelsea are currently without a star striker, as Diego Costa is on the verge of saying goodbye, and Lukaku has become a Red Devil,. Therefore, this signing makes perfect sense, and the deal looks like an ideal win-win situation for the club as well as the player involved.

Possibility of it happening

The chances of him arriving in England and wearing the Blue of London are currently 8/10.

4. Keita Balde Diao To West Ham United

What’s the story?

According to numerous reports, West Ham United’s €32m bid for Keita Balde has been agreed by Lazio, and it is now up to the player to decide whether he wishes to stay or leave.

Should the Deal Take Place?

The Hammers have had earlier bids rejected by the Serie A side, and their constant pressure and persistence shows the willingness and desire they have to bring the player to London. West Ham look like a side gunning for glory this season, and after signing Joe Hart, they are aiming for talent of the highest order in other areas of the park. The Senegalese striker had 16 goals and 3 assists to his name last season – a stat that could take West Ham a long way in England’s top flight.

Possibility of it happening

Rumours of the agent being unaware of the agreement, and the player still having to take the ultimate decision, the possibility of him coming to West Ham is currently 7/10.
