Chelsea Closing In On Brazilian Starlet Richarlison
Premier League Champions Chelsea are reportedly closing in on Brazil U20 forward Richarlison, as Antonio Conte looks to further bolster his attack.
The Blues have already landed Willy Caballero, Antonio Rudiger, Tiemoue Bakayoko, and Alvaro Morata this summer, and now, according to trusted Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Conte has hinted that the Fluminense forward could be next.
Richarlison has been linked with AC Milan and Man Utd in the recent weeks, but the starlet’s agent, Renato Velasco, has denied any approach from the Rossoneri.
In an interview with FCInterNews.it last week, Velasco said: “Yes, there is interest from a few clubs in your country. Inter and Sampdoria, yes, but not the Rossoneri, at least not right now.
“The truth is that he is ready to play for any club, big or small and there is a lot of speculation around him. He is talking about Italy, but also England and Holland.”
Nonetheless, if a move to Stamford Bridge outfit pans out, Richarlison would likely be sent out on loan to get accustomed to the English style of football at a more basic level.
