Diego Costa has been subjected to a move away from Premier League champions Chelsea all summer, and according to reports, the Spaniard’s agent is discussing a possible move to Italian club AC Milan.

The 28-year-old has been expected to leave the Blues this summer after falling out with manager Antonio Conte last season. The Italian confirmed that Costa was no longer needed at Stamford Bridge, and he has since been replaced by fellow Spaniard Alvaro Morata to lead the Chelsea attack, and is Conte’s main man upfront to forge a title fight.

Costa has been linked with a return to Spanish giants Atletico Madrid, where he played before joining Chelsea in 2014, and was recently spotted in the club’s jersey in a party.

But with the La Liga side banned from signing any player until January due to a FIFA-imposed transfer ban, Costa will have to wait until the new year to play for them once again.

The striker’s agent, Jorge Mendes, is seemingly exploring alternative options for his controversial client, so that he gets enough game time.

In fact, Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol has even tweeted that Mendes met with AC Milan this week to discuss a possible move. The super-agent also discussed the potential transfers of Renato Sanches and Radamel Falcao.
