Manchester United fans are buzzing over their club’s high priority target Ivan Perisic’s recent displays on the pitch against German Champions Bayern Munich.
Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic managed to lay a sensational assist during their pre-season friendly match against Bayern earlier today, which has sparked some creative tweets from the Red Devils’ fans.
The Croatian is on top of Jose Mourinho’s wanted list for this summer transfer window, and is keen on including him in United’s squad before the new campaign arrives. The United boss has been eyeing the winger all summer, and will certainly be more interested to get the wide man’s signature after his recent displays.
However, Mourinho’s side had their previous two bids rejected by the Italian giants, one worth £44 million, and one which would’ve seen Matteo Darmian switch colours between the two teams. Meanwhile, the Milan-based club is demanding £48 million for their star frontman, which has led to disagreements between the two parties.
On the other hand, during their match against Bayern, the Croatian international produced a sensational assist, by swiftly getting in behind Rafinha and putting in an inch-perfect cross to Eder, who headed the ball past the goal line.
