Cristiano Ronaldo has told the Spanish court that he wants to leave Spain to get back to England.

Not long ago, Ronaldo excited the whole of England as well as Europe by revealing his desire to leave Real Madrid. The Portuguese looked certain to leave Spain, after the Spanish Tax court summoned him for a reported case of tax evasion.

Ronaldo was upset with the Spanish authorities, as he believed that he was being targeted unfairly, and on purpose.

And although the talk of him leaving Los Blancos got subdued recently, the situation has taken a turn yet again, after the Real Madrid attacker publicly declared that he wants return to England.

Ronaldo was quoted as saying to the authorities: “In England, I never had these problems, that’s why I want to go back there. I always paid my taxes, always. In England and in Spain. And I always paid. As you know, I can not hide anything, it would be ridiculous on my part to do such a thing.”

He further stated: “I am an open book. You don’t need to do anything but type my name into Google and everything about Cristiano comes out. For example, Forbes magazine releases all of my earnings.”

Cristiano’s latest admission of his desire to move back to England has put the big clubs of the Premier League on red alert. Invariably, Manchester United are being linked with a reunion with their favorite son – something that has been touted a number of times since Ronaldo left Old Trafford.

Meanwhile, the financial strength of Premier League clubs could also see Ronaldo linked to all the other major English clubs like Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester City.
