AS Monaco star Fabinho wants to join fellow rivals PSG.

The 23-year-old does want out from the French island city, and as per RMC Sport, he has already reached a verbal agreement with PSG, as manager Unai Emery looks to build the club around a Brazilian core of players.

Monaco, on the other hand, have reportedly rejected a £40m bid for the midfielder, as they seem agitated at losing key players this summer.

After all, they have lost some valuable talent in the likes of Tiemoue Bakayoko, Bernardo Silva, and Benjamin Mendy; all three of which have made a switch to the Premier League.

The current Ligue 1 champions have set an asking price of around £60m for the Brazilian, which PSG are supposedly ready to meet, and a fresh bid is expected to be submitted in the next few days.

After breaking the transfer record for Neymar’s purchase, and bringing in Dani Alves from Juventus, this newfound interest in yet another Brazilian makes one thing clear: PSG are preparing to build a team with a Brazilian core, led by Thiago Silva, in their bid to attain some success at the continental stage.
