Jack Wilshere and Arsenal were a pair that not so long ago, were inseparable to say the least. However, situations have led to things taking drastic turns for the player, who is now looking for a move outside the Emirates. In what has emerged as a surprising rumour, Mirror reports that Aston Villa are eyeing a transfer for the English midfielder.
Should the deal take place?
The player spent last season on loan with AFC Bournemouth, and has had major injury concerns and woes that have kept him away from football at Arsenal. While things look increasingly weak with the Gunners, the player is destined for a move somewhere else, and Steve Bruce considers it as the perfect opportunity to convince him to drop a division and join his Villa side. It might be a difficult task to achieve for the Championship team at the moment, but John Terry’s presence as captain and lack of opportunities in North London might force him into thinking about the decision long and hard.

2. Vincent Janssen To Stoke City

With the month reaching its business end, Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth has reported that Vincent Janssen has emerged as a potential target for Mark Hughes’ side. The player is yet to hit form as a Spurs striker, but is still considered as the answer to the goal-scoring problems Stoke currently face.

Mauricio Pochettino is yet to make a single signing so far this season, and in order to improve his club’s financial situation, selling Janssen might be the right way to go about things. Tottenham do have Harry Kane and Son Heung-min in their ranks to bag goals for the club, and could use the money from their number 9’s sale to bring in another player that can find the back of the net on a regular basis. The deal sounds like a win-win situation for everyone involved, and should reach a positive conclusion.

3. Ryan Sessegnon To Tottenham Hotspur

With three quarters of the transfer window over and no player brought in so far, times are desperate for Tottenham Hotspur this summer. Furthermore, to add salt to the wounds of those fans waiting for good news, the Telegraph mentioned that the club has seen a bid rejected for teenage left-back Ryan Sessegnon. Fulham disapproved of a £25 million offer for their defender, and hope to keep him till 2020, when his current contract expires.

The player has made 26 appearances in the Championship last term, and seems to be packed with abilities to play for a Premier League side this season. However, moving to a club and fighting for first team football behind Danny Rose and Ben Davies might not be the best thing for his career at such an early and progressive stage. Pochettino is eager to strengthen his defence for next season, but Sessegnon does not seem to come around as the answer for that particular problem in the minds of many.

According to reports mentioned in Telegraph, Cedric Soares from Southampton has emerged as an ideal target for the North London club, and is being chased with a price tag of £15 million on his back.

The player has proven Premier League durability and experience, and could use his versatility to help stabilise things at Stamford Bridge with immediate effect. Given his reasonable price and skill set, purchasing him might be the perfect bargain for Conte and his team.
