Italian giants AC Milan want to add more firepower to their team, especially in midfield, as they look to go all out for a severe challenge in Serie A and the Europa League.

After a busy summer that saw the San Siro club making a host of signings, the latest player to be on the club’s radar is Bayern Munich’s Arturo Vidal, as Milan look to capture the Chilean ahead of the August 31 deadline for the summer transfer window to shut.

According to reports, the 7-time Champions League winners are willing to double Vidal’s wages to lure him to Italy and make him their star player to dictate terms in midfield.

The Serie A outfit has been interested in the 30-year-old, and could soon make a bid to tempt the German champions to sell him.

Vidal has been a prime force and a serial winner for Bayern, former club Juventus, and also his national side Chile. Therefore, it is no doubt that the star midfielder is on Milan’s radar, as they seek players with winning mentality, and challenge the likes of Juventus, AS Roma, and Napoli for the title.

But Bayern aren’t looking to sell their prized asset, who joined from Juventus two seasons ago. Manager Carlo Ancelotti will go all out for the Champions League this season, and will need a full strength squad to go far and compete against the best in Europe.

Milan have been hot on their heels this summer, and have gone on to sign a whopping 10 players, and are looking for a striker besides Vidal. The Rossoneri have already got some big names like Andre Silva and Leonardo Bonucci, and would be delighted to add another star player.

The Italian outfit looks desperate to find its way back to the to, after several years of wilderness. They face a trip away to Crotone on Sunday in their Serie A opener.
