Gary Neville Names The Player Similar To David Beckham
Gary Neville has heaped praise on to Kevin de Bruyne, saying that the Manchester City forward reminds him of his former team-mate and good friend David Beckham.
The Belgian starred in the Citizens’s 5-0 drubbing of Liverpool on Saturday, grabbing two assists in a superb performance that received the appraisal of a number of pundits and fans alike.
Beckham was known for his incredible crossing ability and pinpoint accuracy during his playing career, and Neville has compared De Bruyne to the England legend, saying that the two have a lot in common.
“Kevin de Bruyne has sensational quality, he really has,” he said on the Sky Sports Gary Neville Podcast.
“He is deliberate and precise, it looks like every cross lands on a sixpence, like he is aiming for the recipient.
“Too many times you see people cross and aim for an area or zone in the box, but De Bruyne has got the quality and precision to pick people out.
