Real Madrid To Make A Move For Two Premier League Stars
In a transfer window that saw major teams like Barcelona, PSG, Manchester United, and Manchester City undergo a number of changes, Real Madrid had a summer that could be labelled ‘quiet’. The best team in Europe did not go on an all out spending spree, and to be fair, given their squad, they did not need to.
However, Zinedine Zidane does understand the necessity of changes in a squad every season, and there were a few targets he wished to bring in the window gone by. Eden Hazard and David De Gea were rumoured to be the La Liga side’s biggest targets, both of which could not be achieved.
But reports coming in from various sources, suggest that this bit of business is not completely over. The Bernabeu side is reportedly preparing to chase the duo next summer once again, with the intention of seeing the deals reach successful conclusions.
De Gea and Madrid have had a history for a few seasons now, and seeing the Spaniard head to the Spanish capital seems to be an inevitability.
On the other hand, Eden hazard might closing in on penning a new deal with Chelsea, and prizing him away could be tougher than Zidane considers it to be. The Belgian recently joked that he would cost £300m in today’s times, enough hint for Perez to dig deep into his pockets.
Los Blancos also lost the race to land Kylian Mbappe this summer, and will be desperate to assert dominance in the transfer market next time around.
