Ibrahimovic Gives The Perfect Reason Why United Will ‘Achieve Great Things’ This Season

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has revealed why he thinks Manchester United have a solid chance of winning the Premier League title this season.
The Red Devils have made a strong start to this campaign, and it comes as no surprise to some as to why. A side led by Jose Mourinho has always been successful in his second year at the club, and judging by the way things have started, he looks set to keep up that track record.
Ibrahimovic, who has been out injured, recently signed a new contract with the club, and the striker has high hopes for the season, and can’t wait to get back onto the pitch.
“I think we can achieve great things,” he told Inside Review. “We have to remember the second year of Jose Mourinho is always the best one.
“This year will be very exciting and with these new players the team is stronger, and I expect us to do great things. I’m just waiting for the moment to get back to the team and to play with them and enjoy the moments.”
However, Jose Mourinho has stated that he does not understand why people always refer to the second season as his most successful one, as he has won a lot of titles in his first and third seasons as well, on a number of occasions.
He did admit that having full control over transfers in his second season has had a major impact on the results, though, which could explain his incredible second season success rate.
