Mourinho Absolutely Destroyed Martial For Huddersfield Performance By Mentioning Perisic
Manchester United’s unbeaten run took a major blow last Saturday, as Huddersfield Town defeated them 2-1 at the John Smith’s Stadium to take advantage of the lack of enthusiasm and passion shown by the United players on the field.
United players took a stick from their manager Jose Mourinho after the match for their dismal performance, especially in the first half, and accused them of being complacent. However, as per The Independent, Mourinho’s harshest knocks were received by midfielder Ander Herrera and wide-man Anthony Martial.

The United boss is even said to have acerbically commented on how this was exactly why he had wanted Inter Milan’s Ivan Perisic in the summer, to perform a specific role on the wing and avoid the errors to win matches, the points of which becomes crucial at the end of the season.
Mourinho had been concerned prior to the match about his side’s concentration levels in training. With the sharpness lacking, Mourinho had sternly reminded his players that Huddersfield could well take advantage of that, and they could face their first defeat of the season.
Mourinho is now considering making major changes to his starting lineup, after getting a load of his players on the training ground, ahead of this weekend’s tough clash at Old Trafford with third-placed in-form Tottenham.
