High-flying Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing Lazio’s 22-year-old starlet Milinkovic-Savic, and are plotting a move when the transfer window reopens.

The French heavyweights, who made a record signing last summer in the form of Neymar Jr, will go all out to secure the services of the central midfielder, especially after Blaise Matuidi’s departure left a void to work upon for manager Unai Emery. Thiago Motta too, is on the verge of leaving, with only little over a year left on his contract.

But, it won’t be plain-sailing for the Ligue 1 leaders, as Milinkovic-Savic would cost them a massive fee, after the Serbian’s was rated around the region of €100m by the Serie A outfit.

Reports in Italy (via Football Italia) confirm Lazio would not accept any offer below the tagged amount, as manager Simone Inzaghi looks determined not to let go of the 22-year-old central midfielder, due to the Serie A battle getting closer than expected this season.

Milinkovic-Savic has scored 4 goals in 13 appearances for the fourth-placed Lazio, tied with Juventus with 25 points at the moment. His performances have reportedly attracted not just Paris Saint-Germain, but also the defending Serie A Champions Juventus, along with the two Manchester giants.
