Manchester United star goalkeeper David De Gea has been linked with a big move to La Liga giants Real Madrid for the past few seasons now, but an agreement seems far from being reached every time for one reason or the other, giving rise to more speculation regarding his move to the Spanish capital.

Meanwhile, Los Blancos have settled for Costa Rican goalkeeper Keylor Navas, who has been bonzer in front of goal. However, that doesn’t change the fact that Real Madrid will keep themselves from going all-out for the Spaniard at the end of the season.

Manchester United, if they are to lose the 27-year-old, would much rather prefer selling the high-flying shot-stopper for a high price before his contract expires in 2019.

However, as per Diario Gol, a recent remark by Isco praising De Gea has created a sense of fraught in the club’s dressing room. It is believed that Isco’s efforts to try his best to convince his Spanish counterpart to join Real by the end of the season haven’t gone too well among his other teammates, who believe it will lead to slandering Navas, who has helped the team win back-to-back Champions league as well as La Liga title.

In support of Navas, Costa Rican FA president Rodolfo Villalobos has urged the Galacticos to stick with 30-year-old, who was instrumental for his national team in the 2014 World Cup, helping his team to reach the quarter-finals against all expectations.

Villalobos recently stated: “I think that Navas has been surrounded by rumours ever since he arrived at Real Madrid. At Real Madrid he has been a fundamental part of the titles the club has won. He has demonstrated that he deserves to be at Real Madrid.

“If Navas were to leave, Real Madrid would lose more than he would. He is writing his own story at Real Madrid and we hope that he stays there for many years.”
