Manchester United’s Superstar Duo To Return Against Newcastle
Manchester United could be set to welcome two of their most crucial players back from their respective injuries this weekend, according to The Sun.
As per the report, both Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic could make it to the bench on Saturday evening, for the Red Devils’ upcoming Premier League clash against Newcastle United at Old Trafford.
The Frenchman has missed 12 of United’s games since he picked up an injury during the club’s Champions League game against FC Basel back in September.

The Swede, on the other hand, has been missing since the previous campaign, when he limped off the pitch during the Reds’ crucial Europa League encounter against Anderlecht.

However, having been through their respective surgeries and rehabilitations, they returned to AON Training Complex to join up with the rest of the squad a few weeks ago, and could finally end their spells on the sidelines this weekend.
Jose Mourinho’s men have severely missed Pogba, as evident from the team’s performances on the pitch since his injury. United were joint table-toppers alongside Manchester City back when the 24-year-old was fit and firing, but without him, they have fallen 8 points behind their neighbours.
Ibrahimovic’s return is also likely to boost the team’s morale, as the forward will not only add leadership and experience to the side, but also help his new strike partner Romelu Lukaku to increase the Mancunian outfit’s overall goal tally.
Manchester United have been looking for some inspiration for this past month or so, and the return of Pogba and Zlatan could give them just that, as well as get their domestic campaign back on track.
And with the two players making their comeback just in time to be available for the crucial Manchester Derby on December 10, the star duo could also end up playing a huge role in blowing the Premier League title race wide open yet again.
