Manchester United look set to reignite their interest in Tottenham Hotspur left-back Danny Rose, and it seems like the interest is mutual.

The Red Devils were reportedly considering the Englishman as a potential solution to their recent crisis at the left-back position.

However, the move failed to materialise, and United were left with no new names on the left flank. Rose stuck to North London, and has returned to the pitch only recently after injury recovery.

Nevertheless, the Mancunian giants have decided to pursue the player once more as the winter transfer window approaches. And not only are United keen on securing the Spurs star’s services, but he himself wants to make the move up north, as per multiple reports.

Unfortunately, Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is also believed to be a huge admirer of the 27-year-old, and wants to integrate him to his back three formation as a wing-back.

However, Mourinho is set to offer a tough fight for the England international, as it was reported that the Portuguese is unhappy with the left-back options he has at his disposal at present, and does not consider any one of them a long-term solution.

Matteo Darmian and Luke Shaw have suffered the most hardships during the Portuguese’s reign so far, and Daley Blind hardly looks comfortable playing out of position as a full-back.
