DONE DEAL: Man Utd Agree Double Deal Ahead Of January Transfer Window
Man Utd returned to winning ways in their 4-1 demolition of Newcastle United last weekend, and one of the stars of the show, apart from Paul Pogba, was Ashley Young, who dominated the right flank in both defence and attack.
The winger-turned-defender, whose contract with United ends next summer, has been an important part of the Red Devils’ team so far this campaign, having made 10 appearances at left-back.
According to reports from Daily Mail, however, the 32-year-old wide-man’s fine form lately has earned him an extension on his £130,000-a-week contract by an extra year.

Another important player to receive a contract extension at Old Trafford is midfielder Ander Herrera, whose contract was supposed to be over by the end of this season.
However, Mourinho as well as the United chiefs have decided to bind the Spaniard until the summer of 2019.
The 28-year-old joined the Red Devils from Athletic Bilbao in 2014, and has enjoyed success under Mourinho, as he helped United win the EFL Cup and the Europa League last season, apart from winning the club’s Player of the Year award.
However, following the signing of Nemanja Matic from Chelsea, who has been anchoring the United midfield since his arrival, Herrera has found it difficult to make it to the starting XI.
