Man United Preparing A £95m Bid For ‘The Next Paul Pogba’
Manchester United have emerged as the frontrunners in the chase to sign Lazio star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, and are prepared to go all out to secure his signature.
According to The Sun, Jose Mourinho is so determined to bring the midfielder to Old Trafford that he is considering an approach worth a staggering £95 million, a fee that will smash the club’s transfer fee record of £89 million, paid to secure Paul Pogba’s services from Juventus last year.
Reports have revealed that Mourinho has sent his scouts over to Italy to keep tabs on the 22-year-old’s progress, and they have all been left stunned by his talent and ability.

United are still said to be ahead in the battle for his signature though, and the club’s scouts were recently in attendance to watch him against Sampdoria, where he scored the equalizer and set up the winner in the last 10 minutes of the game as his side came out 2-1 winners.
Lazio’s sporting director Igli Tare did not shy away from questions about his club’s star player, and revealed that a number of offers well over £60 million have already come their way.
However, he also admitted to being hopeful that the Serbian would choose to stay at the club a while longer, having only recently signed a new contract.
Tare said: “We have received offers from him, some of which are way over £60 million. However, none have come from Juventus. He signed a new contract six months ago and this means he’s happy here.”
