What ‘Noisy Neighbours’ Man City Did After Man Utd Lost To Bristol City
Manchester City stars have reportedly taken delight in United’s expulsion from the Carabao Cup during their Christmas party.
On Wednesday night, Pep Guardiola’s men were out savouring the taste of a monstrous party with 500 members of staff at Swanky city centre bar Menagerie. And as per Daily Mail, huge cheers followed when Korey Smith bagged a late goal which confirmed the Red Devils’ exit.
The Sky Blues’ men mocking the Old Trafford outfit in whatsoever ways possible has become a common sight lately. They have been dedicated to mockery to such an extent that they’re purportedly proving to be the noisy neighbours of United.
Since the recent derby, the rivalry between the Mancunian clubs has hit its peak, which led to other similar circumstances like City stars criticising their counterparts’ highly defensive tactics by chanting anthems.
The Citizens’ 2-1 victory at Old Trafford was followed by a massive dressing room celebration which triggered Jose Mourinho. Furthermore, it was accompanied by a tunnel bust-up soon after, which elevated pretty quickly, and required police officials to separate the ones engaged.
Moreover, the Portuguese tactician was forgiven by FA over his pre-match comments on Pep’s men committing tactical fouls. Despite all these incidents, either team was left unpunished by the higher officials.
Nevertheless, both teams are giving their all out on the pitch, as Guardiola still remain unbeaten in the league, whereas the Red Giants sit second in the table. Notwithstanding the character issues, City are performing sensationally on the pitch.
Meanwhile, United have bagged 13 wins in 18 matches, but still lag behind their arch-rivals by a gap of 11 points. With the January window closing, the ex-Chelsea gaffer is looking forward to making a serious impact in the English league.
