Manchester United Begin Negotiations With PSG Star
Manchester United have set the ball rolling in the winter transfer market in their bid to sign Brazilian winger Lucas Moura, reports Inside Futbol.
The 25-year-old currently plays for Paris Saint-Germain, and the French giants have been left unimpressed by the bid submitted by the Red Devils, since it does not match the asking price for their player.
Lucas has been a long-term target for United. The English giants failed to bag him in 2012, but have continued to monitor the winger’s progress since.

Apart from the Mancunian outfit, Chinese Super League side Hebei Fortune has also reportedly put in a bid for the winger, but the PSG star is not too keen to move to China unless he has no other option in Europe.

According to French magazine Le 10 Sport, Manchester United have already started negotiations with the wide-man.
Moreover, earlier in the week, RMC Sport reported that PSG’s board had already informed the Brazil international’s representatives to find a new club in January.
Lucas has been struggling at PSG since the high-profile summer signings of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe. He has only managed to make five appearances for the former French champions.
Besides United, reigning English Champions Chelsea are keen on signing Lucas as well, as they wish to find a potential successor for Willian. Arsenal too, have been keeping tabs on the £27 million-rated superstar.
With strong interest from English powerhouses, it will be exciting to see which club Lucas heads to in the winter transfer window.
