Real Willing To Sell Toni Kroos To United As They Expect Imminent Bid
Manchester United are said to be in a positive situation regarding Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos.
The transfer scenario involving Real has gotten interesting, and reports claim that several changes are expected to their roster, including the sale of Kroos to United.
Cristiano Ronaldo is said to be leaving the Bernabeu in the summer, and the Spanish champions want Neymar to replace the Portugal international.
Neymar joined Paris Saint-Germain from Barcelona in the summer of 2017 for a record-breaking fee of £198m, but now, Real want the player to join them, and are planning to make another world record bid.
Meanwhile, the money needed to sign Neymar has to come from selling players as well, and with United on the hunt for at least two midfielders in the summer, Real feel they will come hard for Kroos.
According to a report in Spanish outlet Don Balon, United’s interest in the German is extreme, and if Real receive an official bid, then they will readily sell the star midfielder.
This report also comes after Jose recently stated that the Red Devils will need to sign at least two star midfielders next summer. Moreover, Real president Florentino Perez is prepared to accept a bid the moment it is made.
The Galacticos’ hierarchy has been interested in Neymar for years, and they wouldn’t mind losing a star asset in Kroos for the Brazilian, especially with the stock in midfield they possess.
Interestingly, Kroos was a target for former United manager David Moyes too, but his replacement Louis van Gaal passed on the chance to sign him. That resulted in the player joining Real, where he has enjoyed enormous success.
