Some say football fans are some of the most dedicated and obsessive group of people on the planet.

And Liverpool fans seem to be keen on establishing that as the absolute truth, as the hopeful lot of them dug through Schalke superstar Leon Goretzka’s Instagram profile in search of hints of his transfer activities.

The German has been one of the most exciting and popular names in the transfer market this season, and European clubs are already on the case. He has been linked to Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Liverpool, and even United recently, alongside other big names.

Most recently, reports of the youngster having agreed a deal with the Bavarians had gained popularity, but they were quickly dismissed by his agent, Jorg Neubauer, who told Sport 1: “When a decision has been made, Leon and I will first inform Schalke.”

Meanwhile, the Liverpool faithful have managed to find hope in the talented midfielder’s recent social media activity, by interpreting some of it as a sign of his arrival at Anfield.

The German international seems to have registered a like on Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp’s image with the caption ‘Jurgen Klopp passion’.

Though this is hardly any evidence or even a subtle sign, the Merseyside outfit recently smashed the transfer market to secure Virgil van Dijk’s services out of nowhere last week, and managed to sign Naby Keita during the summer after battling many interested parties.

And with Keita in midfield, Goretzka could form a lethal partnership with the Leipzig man in the middle of that park, which may just exponate Klopp’s chances of leading his side to silverware.
