Jose Mourinho Urges Man Utd To Sign Premier League Superstar
Jose Mourinho is about to step up his efforts to finally end the cry for defensive stability on the left flank by attempting to sign Tottenham Hotspur star Danny Rose.
Man Utd’s interest in the full-back has been no secret, and the gaffer seems to a huge admirer of him.
Though the Old Trafford outfit came close to signing the Englishman during the summer, Spurs’ resilience, and the defender’s ongoing recovery from injury saw the deal ultimately break down.
However, as per The Sun, the Portuguese boss has made up his mind to import Rose to Old Trafford, and is reportedly urging the club to go all out to secure his services.
Further, the report also claims that Mourinho is on a mission to persuade his higher-ups to table a whopping £50 million offer for the Tottenham man.
On the other hand, Mauricio Pochettino has no intentions of letting go of an experienced squad member, and is said to have resolved himself against the idea of cashing in on the England international.
That is, unless the Argentine can manage to secure the signature of Fulham’s much admired Ryan Sessegnon, who is also wanted by the Red Devils, which would then make the £50 million offer extremely hard to reject.
The North Londoners are reportedly ready to offer £30 million for the youngster, which has a very good chance of being accepted.
However, Fulham are in no hurry to let go of their young prospect, and may postpone the switch should an agreement materialise, for their Championship play-offs.
