Revealed: How Manchester United Could Sign Gareth Bale This Month
Manchester United could make a move to sign their long-term target and Real Madrid superstar, Gareth Bale, before the transfer window closes this month, according to reports.
Bale has been linked with the Red Devils ever since he made a move away from Tottenham Hotspur back in 2013.
The coveted winger preferred a switch to Spain rather than Manchester, and in the process, became the world’s most expensive player at that time, as his transfer cost Real Madrid a colossal €100 million.
However, since then, times have been tough for the Welshman, primarily because of injuries.
The 28-year-old has made just 6 appearances for Real this season, and has missed almost 60 percent of the matches altogether since moving to the Bernabeu due to injuries.
The pacey winger, in recent times, has become more of a liability for Los Blancos than an asset, and thus, club President Florentino Perez is keen on offloading him in order to accumulate enough credit to make a move for Paris Saint-Germain’s Neymar Jr.
And as per the report from Express, Manchester United could take advantage of the situation, and target Bale before the end of this month.
Red Devils’ boss Jose Mourinho is a well-known admirer of the wide-man, and is likely to push the club to sign Bale in order to build his side’s attacking prowess.
