BREAKING: Manchester United Stun City With Alexis Sanchez Move
Manchester United have reportedly made a sudden shock move for Arsenal ace Alexis Sanchez, after the Chilean had already agreed to personal terms on a deal that could finalize his switch to Manchester City this summer.
Sanchez, whose contract at the Emirates is set to expire at the end of the 2017-18 campaign, is available for a modest transfer fee of £35 million.
The Cityzens had agreed to personal terms with the Gunners’ No. 7, with a salary of around £250,000-a-week, and had reportedly offered £20 million to Arsenal for their unsettled star.

But new reports have emerged linking the 29-year-old to United in a part-exchange deal including former Borussia Dortmund playmaker, Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Jose Mourinho is willing to offer a higher weekly wage to Sanchez, and also submit a bid worth £25 million plus Mkhitaryan to Arsenal.
It was further claimed by Di Marzio that “Mourinho contacted Wenger and offered Mkhitaryan as part of the deal, a player the French manager is intrigued by.”
However, the major area of concern between the two Premier League heavyweights is Mkhitaryan’s salary, which is believed to be around £200,000-a-week.
Meanwhile, it is yet to be confirmed whether Sanchez has any interest in joining the Red Devils, but a transfer which was certainly thought to be a piece of cake for Pep Guardiola has undoubtedly turned into a tug-of-war between the two Manchester juggernauts.
