Manchester United are back in the transfer market, and their targets this time include no small names as usual, as they look to raid Arsenal, Leicester City, or West Ham for striking options.

According to latest reports from Telegraph, Jose Mourinho is keen on bringing in either Alexis Sanchez, Jamie Vardy, or Javier Hernandez in order to support Romelu Lukaku.

The Chilean international has rejected any prospect of signing a new contract at the Emirates, and thus, the Gunners have braced themselves of his seemingly imminent departure.

Meanwhile, Manchester City are lining up a move for Sanchez as well, after failing to snatch him back in the summer. But as of now, Arséne Wenger’s side is waiting for a suitable before letting go of the club talisman.

However, United, who are more than capable of making a huge bid, are prepared to offer better wages than their bitter rivals, and even offer Henrikh Mkhitaryan in exchange to push the deal through.

On the other hand, if the Old Trafford outfit were to contest for Vardy’s signature, a reported fee around £35 million is expected to be offered. But the Foxes look to be in no hurry to let go of their main man in front of goal.

Meanwhile, Chicharito would be the easiest target to go after, as his importance has fallen significantly at the London Stadium after the appointment of David Moyes.

Moreover, the idea of moving to a club with the status of United could prove to be very compelling, especially since Hernandez has already sported the famous red shirt before.

Further, Mourinho himself has admitted the departure of the Mexican was a mistake, and insisted he would fit into the current Red Devils’ roster easily.

Nevertheless, it is best to note that the gaffer is hardly scouting for a complete replacement for Lukaku, and is merely adding support in terms of attacking prowess to his squad.
