It’s Official! Robin Van Persie Makes Surprise Return To Former Club
Former Manchester United and Arsenal superstar Robin van Persie has found a new club, and he probably won’t be complaining about its lacklustre status. The Dutchman has made a stellar return to his boyhood club Feyenoord after a very successful career.
At his peak, Van Persie was one of the deadliest goalscorers in whole of England, which earned him star status in North London, during his days as a Gunner. Well, initially at least.
After netting 136 times for Arsenal, RVP earned a stunning move to rivals Manchester United, which led his former club’s supporters turning their backs on him.

However, the ex-Dutch international will hardly care, as he managed to score over 50 goals for the Red Devils on the course of a Premier League championship.
But ultimately, the talented striker became one of the squad members that received the short end of the stick during Louis van Gaal’s ‘reform’ at the Theatre of Dreams.
Nevertheless, returning to one’s youth club would hardly be a disappointment, and it could be the perfect way to step down from a footballing career after a while.
