Borussia Dortmund have always been the pioneers of youth development and nurturing in European football, and Christian Pulisic is a product of that.

Making his debut at an early age of 17, the American has already established himself as one of the best young prospects in the world as of now. And with 9 goals in 20 appearance for his country, Pulisic seems to be on a path to become a national hero.

Naturally, being one of the most popular youngsters in Europe attracts attention. Elites including Liverpool have been tracing the youngster’s track, but they seem to have been joined by bitter rivals Man United.

The Red Devils reportedly are the latest contenders to join the race for the USA international’s services, and when quizzed about such claims during an interview with ESPN, he responded with words that may fill the Old Trafford faithful with joy.

Although the idea of joining the club he supported as a young boy definitely appealed to the 19-year-old, he was also quick to dismiss the prospect of a departure from Dortmund in the near future.

“Of course, the Premier League is an unbelievable league,” he added.

“You never know in football what can happen, so right now, I’m focused with Dortmund, and yeah, that’s that.”
