Huge Liverpool Transfer Accidentally Confirmed By Steven Gerrard
Former Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard has gone on to admit that the Reds are unlikely to keep hold of star midfielder Emre Can in the summer.
Can has been the centre of Liverpool’s transfer speculation since last summer, and after the club lost Philippe Coutinho last month, they could be set to miss out on keeping the German international as well.
The midfielder, who has appeared for the English club in 159 matches, is likely to join Italian champions Juventus.

Can is in the last year of his current Liverpool contract, and is a free agent in the summer. Therefore, Juve would get him for nothing, and also bolster their squad in the process, especially in midfield.
Can has been a pivotal player for the Anfield outfit, and this season too, he has featured consistently, scoring 5 goals in 30 appearances.

Speaking on BT Sport’s coverage of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16, Gerrard seemed confident on the departure of Can. “We’ll have to see what happens. Emre Can is leaving but (Naby) Keita is coming in,” said the Englishman.
Liverpool wanted the German to sign a contract extension, but so far, the club has been unable to convince the starlet to extend his stay in Merseyside.
Jurgen Klopp has, however, already signed RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita, who is set to join the side in the summer 0f 2018. Keita is expected to fill up the place of Can, and play alongside Jordan Henderson and Georginio Wijnaldum in the middle of the park.
