Antonio Conte has already identified what could be his first ever signing as manager of Paris Saint-Germain, according to reports.
Having already reached a stage of dominance over the French league, PSG’s focus has shifted towards their European competition exploits, as they aim for a Champions League triumph.
Winning Ligue 1 is no longer seen as a special feat, and a manager’s success in the season is measured by the yardstick of progress in the Champions League.
With Unai Emery failing to guide his team past Real Madrid into the quarter-finals of the prestigious competition, it looks likely that he will be sacked come the end of the season.

A number of bosses have been linked to the job in recent weeks, but Conte appears the most likely candidate to be appointed at the moment. The Italian is growing disillusioned with life at Chelsea, and his strained relationship with the board could see him leave in the summer.
If reports are to be believed, he has already decided that his time at Stamford Bridge is up, and is planning ahead for a potential switch to Paris.

According to Italian news outlet Rai Sport, the 48-year-old has handed in his list of transfer targets to PSG’s board, and will sign for the club depending on their willingness to meet his demands.
The Italian has been frustrated at the incredible lack of support he has received in the transfer market by Roman Abramovich and the Chelsea board, and is determined to ensure he does not suffer the same way at his next club.
High up on that list is a certain Paul Pogba, who Conte signed for Juventus for free. The pair enjoy a fantastic relationship, and the Italian is keen to reunite with the Frenchman in the French capital.
Pogba is going through a rough patch at Old Trafford at the moment, and has come in for a lot of criticism from fans and pundits alike for his performances of late.
The star midfielder is also believed to have hit a low point in his relationship with Jose Mourinho, and might be edging for a move away from the club once the summer comes along.
