Injury Concern For France Internationals
It seems like Jose Mourinho will have something to chew upon regarding the fitness of two of his star players once club football resumes at the end of this month.
The Portuguese has had recent issues with Frenchmen Anthony Martial and Paul Pogba regarding injuries, and the latter is said to have still not recovered fully.
According to a report in L Equipe, Pogba missed the training session for Didier Deschamps’ side, who face Colombia in a friendly on Friday. The midfielder has been said to have received attention from the French medical staff, as his current situation is still unknown.

The former Juventus star hasn’t quite lived up to expectations since his move to United in 2016.
In fact, Deschamps recently cited that the midfielder will not be happy at Old Trafford after not being a prime contender in Jose Mourinho’s plans.

Pogba was an unused substitute in the Red Devils’ match against Brighton and Hove Albion in the FA Cup quarter-finals last weekend.
His injury now brings up further issues for Jose, who is already missing Martial off late. The report stated that the French team is currently nursing with injuries of three players, that include Marital and Marseille’s Florian Thauvin besides Pogba.
Martial does not have a guaranteed place in the French side for the FIFA World Cup in Russia that starts from June 14. Both he and Pogba need to show their manager that they can recover in time and get some game in the upcoming matches.
A good outing against Colombia and Russia in the friendlies could also open their gate in Mourinho’s plans for rest of the season, with just eight matches to go in the English league.
Jose will be hoping the injuries involving the duo aren’t serious, as he awaits all his players to rejoin him ahead of the match against Swansea City on March 31.
