Serie A Giants Ready To Sell Their Star Player For £60m
Inter Milan have reportedly put a hefty price tag on their star defender, Milan Skriniar, as European giants prepare to get off with their transfer business ahead of the summer transfer window.
Skriniar has been on the radar of multiple clubs, with United and Barcelona claimed to be the top contenders for the highly-rated defender’s signature.
Arsenal have also been linked with the 23-year-old, but for the time being, seem to have cooled off their interest in the Inter starlet. And as per latest reports in Italy, United and Barca could also be forced to re-examine their options.
According to Calciomercato, Inter have reportedly smashed a gigantic £60 million price tag on the young star in order to ward off interest from the European juggernauts.

It was claimed that the Serie A giants are determined to hold onto Skriniar, and have made it clear that they won’t engage in any negotiations unless the amount offered is £60m or possibly upwards of it.

Meanwhile, the Slovakian, who signed a five-year contract with the San Siro club last summer, insists that he is ‘very happy’ in Italy, and has no intention of leaving this summer.
Skriniar revealed at his country’s Footballer of the Year awards: “I really like Inter. I am very happy to be here and it will be nice to make a career like the one that Marek Hamsik has had at Napoli.”

However, the youngster’s agent, Karol Csonto, admitted back in November that a mammoth offer could make Inter consider selling their prized possession.
Csonto had said: “He signed a five-year contract with Inter in the summer, so no one within the club is thinking about selling him. It may happen that someone offers so much money that Inter have to consider it, but I don’t want to speculate if it would be €50m (£43m) or €70m (£63m).”
The Slovakian international has made 30 appearances in all competitions, and has scored four times in the process for the Nerazzurri.
