Alexis Sanchez’s move to Manchester United from Arsenal in the January transfer window was termed as a blockbuster signing, but the Chilean is yet to show the prowess he enjoyed at the Emirates.

In recent weeks, several reports around Sanchez did the rounds. Some stated that the United management is in fear that the player could turn out to be like Angel di Maria.

Another report in Daily Mail even stated that the player has been left a sorry figure at the Old Trafford outfit, as he is often seen eating alone at Carrington.

But the latest report in Daily Star could ease the tension for United fans, as it states that the former Barcelona player has been eating alone at United’s training ground because he is often the last player off the training pitch.

Sanchez has been working very hard, and he also does 30 minutes-worth of extra work compared to the rest of his teammates. He also spends this time to work on his free-kicks and shooting.

An inside source from the club revealed: “He regularly does an extra 30 minutes working on free-kicks and shooting after the main session has finished up. By the time he has showered and changed, the majority of his team-mates have finished eating and gone.”

The Chilean had recently stated that he demands a lot from himself and always expects better. He also cited that the period has been difficult due to the abrupt transfer in January.

United fans will be hoping that the versatile forward will soon soon get on with the work and give a better account of himself, as the Mancunian club aims for the FA Cup and a second-place finish in the league.
