Being available for a transfer can often feel like watching vultures waiting to swoop on you.

Only in this instance, the amorous birds of prey are European powerhouses, and the reason behind the interest is a talent beaming with potential and perhaps wronged by his existing club.

Anthony Martial has managed to attract a host of interest from big names, after multiple reports claiming that the young Frenchman has refused Man Utd’s attempts at handing him a bumper five-year deal.

As a result, names like PSG, Arsenal, Tottenham, and even Bayern Munich have been linked with the starlet. But his most illustrious pursuer might be the following one.

As per Daily Mail, Barcelona are strongly considering a summer move for the 22-year-old, and will reportedly go as high as £60 million to secure his services.

This could be an enticing offer for Man Utd, as not every club is bound to offer this high an amount due to the player’s form, regardless of what he can potentially do later on.

The suffering at Old Trafford is a result of United’s winter swoop of Alexis Sanchez, who has effectively cemented his position in what was Martial’s usual chomping ground, and one that he maintained with quite a swagger.

As a consequence, the Frenchman has been barely used at all, or forced to function from the right side, which is not his preferred spot by a long shot.

The unhappiness is believed to be a very realistic mood, and in Barcelona, Martial could find the apt club at which to render his services, even if from a role that is less assured owing to the star power already at Camp Nou.

Further, the La Liga giants are also said to be monitoring the situation of Fulham youngster Ryan Sessegnon, who has managed to score 14 goals in 43 appearances this season, and is only 17 years old.

Clearly, Barcelona have the right idea, but will it be successful?
