Confirmed: Manchester United Sign Talented Striker

Manchester United have completed the signing of a 13-year-old footballer, who is considered to be one of the brightest talents amongst youngsters in the game. The striker, named Manni Norkett from North Muskham, stated that it is a dream come true to sign for the Mancunian club.

The young sensation chose Manchester United academy as the place to nurture his development at, after snubbing several other offers from English clubs. The list includes the likes of Everton and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The player from Tuxford Academy is excited to join United’s academy, and stated that the playing style suits his game, and he sees that as a real development.

“I am really excited. I wanted to sign for Manchester United because I think they will suit my style of play more than other teams. I like to run and play with a bit more freedom going forward,” said the teenager [via newarkadvertiser].

“The coaches (at Manchester United) are different than what I thought. It has been really great there so far. I want to be selected for England youth teams later this year, so I will be working hard towards that,” he added.

NORKET’S ACHIEVEMENTS

The forward has appeared for the English giants against other category-one academies, besides travelling to Los Angeles to represent United in the under-14 LA Galaxy Cup. He chipped in with goals in every game during the tourney.

While playing at the junior level, he excelled for many academies, including Manchester City, and that can be seen in his game now. He has also taken part in competitive youth league football and has scored many goals for the teams he represented.
