Antoine Griezmann’s Next Club Accidentally Revealed?
Luis Suarez appears to have accidentally confirmed that Antoine Griezmann will sign for Barcelona this summer.
Griezmann’s future has been up in the air for the last two years now, and he came incredibly close to signing for MUFC last summer. Personal terms had also been agreed, but the forward chose to stay in the Spanish capital after Atletico Madrid were hit with a transfer ban.
However, Barcelona seem to have shown more of an interest in him over the last few months. The Catalans are eager to secure the signing of a new attacking player to potentially replace the ageing Luis Suarez, who is now 31.
In fact, the Uruguayan himself may have accidentally let it slip that his side have agreed to sign Griezmann in the summer, while defending his own place in the starting XI.
Suarez told Spanish station Radio Rincon: “It makes the club proud to bring players of this quality like Antoine, like [Ousmane] Dembele and [Philippe] Coutinho came.

“He’s a player who brings a huge amount, he has a lot of years playing at the highest level, always fighting. He rules up front for Atletico and that is fundamental.
“He is not coming to take the place of anyone, but with the ambition of winning important things. He will be welcomed.”
