United Star Tells Mourinho He Wants To Leave
Marouane Fellaini has reportedly told Jose Mourinho that he wants to leave United this summer.
The Belgian has been in the news quite a bit in recent weeks, with his contract situation the talk of the media. His current deal with the club runs out at the end of the season, and so far, he has refused to sign a new one.
Mourinho has been determined to keep him at the club, as Fellaini is seen as an important squad player.

However, the Belgium international, rather ridiculously, believes he is worth upwards of €50 million, and that other clubs are queuing up to sign him.
Hence, he has held off United’s advances so far, and even went as far as to blame the club for not signing him up sooner.

The 30-year-old is, according to Sport Witness (via Calciomercato), being targeted by AC Milan, Napoli, Galatasaray, and Besiktas.
The report also states that he has informed Mourinho of his decision, and has cited a need for a ‘new challenge’ as his reason for choosing to leave the Old Trafford outfit.
Fellaini has played in England for 10 years now, and is eager for one last payday elsewhere. The move would be good for both the player and the club, who can finally move on and sign someone of a higher caliber.
