Rui Faria Is Set To Be Offered This Huge Job In His First Managerial Stint
Manchester United are all set to part with Jose Mourinho’s right hand Rui Faria after the 2017-18 season. The Special One ends a 17-year association with his assistant, and the talented coach is all set to join a major club as a first team coach.
Faria, who won multiple trophies alongside Jose, that included two Champions League honours, is set to be the assistant manager of Mancunian club up till the FA Cup final against Chelsea on May 19.
His special memories as Jose’s deputy will be winning the treble with Inter Milan and amassing 100 La Liga points with Spanish giants Real Madrid, along with winning Premier League titles with Chelsea.
Faria was linked with a move to Arsenal, as a replacement for Arsene Wenger. But now, with Mikel Arteta rumoured to join the Gunners as their new manager, Faria looks to be on the verge of taking the helm of a big club in his homeland Portugal.

According to a report in Telegraph, Mourinho’s former assistant is going to be the new manager of Benfica.

The club is likely to finish second in the Portuguese league, as they are seven points behind leaders FC Porto.
Current boss Rui Vitoria could be sacked as the season ends, and the club is said to be considering Faria, whom they believe is the right man after gaining all the experience under Mourinho.
Benfica are to go trophyless this season, and they want a manager with the right belief to lead them to titles in the future.
