Paul Pogba Names Six Midfielders Who He Believes Are Better Than Himself
Paul Pogba believes that there are a host of midfielders that are way better than him in world football. He has gone on to name at least six players he feels are world-class and have created a lot of impact.
The former Juventus player is rated as one of the best midfielders, and will be a key asset for France when they go out on the field in the upcoming 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
The player, who won the UEFA Europa League and the League Cup in his debut season at United, suffered an inconsistent bout of form in the recently concluded season, despite bagging 6 goals and provided 11 assists in 37 matches.
A good World Cup for France could change the scenario for the hugely talented footballer. With many still believing he is amongst the top midfielders, Pogba has named a few players he believes have set the bar.

In an interview with French TV station Canal+, Pogba cited that he isn’t at the top of the list, and laid out six names.
He started off with Spanish maestro and former Barcelona superstar Andres Iniesta. The United midfielder lauded Iniesta for having a phenomenal career, who won every possible trophy with Barca and Spain.

Further down Pogba’s list stood Real Madrid duo Toni Kroos and Luka Modric. The pair won the UEFA Champions League trophy with Real for a third successive year.
Manchester City’s David Silva and Kevin de Bruyne featured as well, and so did Yaya Toure, who recently left the newly-crowned Premier League champions.
One player Pogba focused on was former Arsenal player Abou Diaby. The 25-year-old feels he was an excellent midfielder for Arsenal and France, but lamented on the injuries that ruined his career. Pogba added that he will remember Diaby for the influence the latter had on him.
