Huge Update On The Future Of Alex Sandro
Manchester United’s attempts at getting world-class talents could be thwarted. The club is clearly planning a smart overhaul for the summer, and will look to reinforce their weak spots.
At the moment, those lie in the flanks, with veteran winger-turned-full-backs Valencia and Young manning the spot. However, the Mancunian club has been linked with a host of names to replace the duo, and none has been more recurring than that of Alex Sandro.
The Brazilian is considered to be the apt left-back replacement, and also a player that is highly valued. Unfortunately, it seems that Juventus may want him quite a bit as well.
Goal Italia claims that Juventus have offered Sandro a bumper five-year contract in a bid to keep him penned to the club.
The source adds that this new deal is all set to benefit the 27-year-old by a salary upwards of €5 million-a-year until 2023, which is better than his current contract, which expires in 2020.

This is in line with what Juventus CEO Beppe Marotta recently stated: “We will meet with the representatives of Alex Sandro soon and I think it is desirable to renew the contract.”
It seems that the Italian giants have learned their lesson from last season, which saw them lose the likes of Dani Alves and Leonardo Bonucci.

If they manage to put this saga to rest, they may finally be able to invest in their own transfer plans, intent on achieving the European glory that has been missed the past few seasons.
Knowing United and the tactics of Ed Woodward, however, this may not put the Red Devils off, and a financially superior deal could still tempt Sandro to make the switch to Old Trafford instead.
The Brazilian is touted to bring experience and proper skill to the left flank, whereas for the opposite side, United may settle for a younger talent, and the name of Diogo Dalot has been quite strong over the past few days.
